Intensive Behavioral Health Services

Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) is funded primarily through Medicaid, but can be funded by some commercial insurance plans.  This service requires a prior authorization from the insurance company.  IBHS is a combination of services and supports that are delivered in the home and community setting.  It is typically recommended for children and adolescents whose behaviors are too severe to be addressed in typical outpatient therapy.  It is behaviorally focused. Included in the IBHS array of services is Applied Behavioral Analysis Services (ABA).
