Coronavirus (COVID-19) Testing/Vaccination Information

Effective August 13, 2021:

The CDC recommends that people with moderately to severely compromised immune systems receive a third dose of mRNA COVID-19 vaccine at least 28 days after a second dose of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.

People who have compromised immune systems are more at risk of serious, prolonged illness and may benefit from an additional dose to make sure they have enough protection against COVID-19.

Talk to your healthcare provider about your medical condition to decide whether getting an additional dose is appropriate for you.

If you are eligible for a third dose, make sure to take your vaccination card to your appointment. Prescriptions are not required.

The CDC does not recommend additional doses or booster shots for any other population at this time including those who received the  Johnson & Johnson Janssen COVID-19 vaccine.
