Requests to Other Bucks County Offices/Departments

The Bucks County Office of Open Records receives and processes requests for county records other than records of the District Attorney and the Courts. In order to process a RTK request under the RTKL, this Office requires a requester to fill out and submit the following Standard Right-to-Know Law Request Form:

The filled-out form must be submitted to the Open Records Officer of the Bucks County Office of Open Records by email, mail, or facsimile.  In-person submission may be available by appointment only.

Within five (5) business days of receiving your request, the Bucks County Office of Open Records will send you one of the following responses:

  • Notice on how and when you may inspect or obtain copies of the requested records;
  • Notice that additional time will be needed to process the request; or
  • Notice that some of all of the requested records are not subject to production pursuant to the RTKL.

If you disagree with the response and/or determination of the Bucks County Office of Open Records, you may file an appeal with the Pennsylvania Office of Open Records, 333 Market Street, 16th Floor, Harrisburg, PA  17101-2234.

Fees

The Bucks County Office of Open Records maintains the right to request permissible fees in responding to a RTK request, subject to the official fee schedule adopted by the Pennsylvania Office of Open Records:
