DUI Central Court Public Notice
The Court of Common Pleas intends to submit a petition to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court requesting approval of a DUI Central Court in Bucks County. The proposed petition is available for public review here, and copies will also be available at any local Magisterial District Court office and the Office of the Court Administrator in the Bucks County Justice Center. Any written comment regarding the proposal may be submitted by October 2nd, 2023, to [email protected] or via mail to Office of the Court Administrator, Bucks County Justice Center, 100 N. Notice Regarding Updates to Civil Case Management Program
In light of a Supreme Court directive to conclude civil actions within 2 years of the date of filing, the Court has accelerated the timeframes of its current Case Management System effective June 1, 2023.
Be advised that Agreed Case Management Orders MAY NOT extend the date on which the case is to be considered ready for trial or arbitration past 18 months from the date of initial filing and all sua sponte Case Management Orders entered by the Court will set the date the matter is to be considered ready for trial or arbitration at 18 months from the date of initial filing.
Important Discovery Court Notice
THERE WILL BE NO DISCOVERY MOTIONS COUNTY ON SEPTEMBER 22, 2023.
Discovery motions court is held at 9:30 a.m. each Friday morning. Discovery court motions are to be filed in the Prothonotary’s office on the date of presentation, immediately prior to presentation. Counsel should appear in the designated courtroom no later than 9:00 AM to check in with Court Administration staff.
