Unofficial results will be reported throughout the night beginning at approximately 9:30 PM on 2/13/2024.

NOTICE: This number is UNOFFICIAL as the Board of Elections works to ensure all ballots received by the statutory deadline are recorded.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Elections will begin at seven o'clock A.M. on February 13, 2024 to pre-canvass all ballots received prior. One authorized representative shall be permitted to attend. No person observing, attending or participating in a pre-canvass meeting may disclose the results of any portion of any pre-canvass meeting prior to the close of the polls. The Board of Elections will continue to canvass on February 13, 2024 at 8:00 P.M., after the close of polls.

Notice is hereby given that the computation of the votes cast in the 140th Legislative District Special Election districts of the County of Bucks, as returned by the Election Officers for the Special Election of February 13, 2024, will begin at 9:00 A.M. prevailing time on Friday, January 16, 2024, in the Office of the Bucks County Board of Elections, 55 East Court Street, Doylestown, PA.

Notice is also given that the Board of Elections will convene in the 1st floor Commissioners’ Meeting Room at the Administration Building located at 55 East Court Street, Doylestown on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. for the purpose of verifying the validity of individuals who have cast provisional ballots in the Special Election of February 16, 2024, and to canvass said provisional ballots. Services & Responsibilities

The Board of Elections Office:

  • Prepares and furnishes all material used at elections
  • Receives petitions for placement of candidates on the primary ballot
  • Registers new voters
  • Maintains voter registration files, including name, address and political party changes
  • Processes and mails absentee ballots
  • Instructs election officials
  • Prepares and delivers all voting machines in 304 voting districts
  • Receives the returns of all primaries and elections from each precinct, and canvasses, computes and certifies results
  • Responds to daily questions and requests over the counter and via telephone
