Psychiatric rehabilitation promotes mental health recovery, integration into the community and improved quality of life for persons who have been diagnosed with a mental health condition. These services focus on helping individuals develop skills and access resources needed to increase their capacity to be successful and satisfied in the living, working, learning and social environments of their choice.
Eligibility:
Eligible individuals will have a documented “priority” diagnosis (schizophrenia, major mood disorder, psychotic disorder NOS, or borderline personality disorder) and a moderate to severe functional impairment that interferes with (or limits) performance in at least one of the following domains: Living, Learning, Working, or Socializing. There are exception criteria for individuals who do not meet the priority diagnosis requirement.
