Meredith J. Buck, a registered nurse and an attorney, is a dedicated volunteer with the Red Cross and passionate public servant. Ms. Buck received the 2009/2010 Florence Nightingale Medal, the highest international honor a nurse can receive, awarded by the International Committee of the Red Cross. The medal honors "exceptional courage and devotion to caring for the victims of armed conflict or other disasters, or exemplary service and a creative and pioneering spirit in the areas of public health or nursing education."
Ms. Buck is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, serving as a House Delegate, and the Bucks County Bar Association, where she served several terms on the Board of Directors. As an active community advocate, she was a founding member of the Friends of Historic Chalfont and served on Chalfont Borough's Blighted Property Review Committee. She continues to serve on the board of Central Bucks Emergency Medical Services.
