The five-member Bucks County Industrial Development Authority (BCIDA) was created in 1968 by the Bucks County Commissioners to foster new job and job retention opportunities for Bucks County residents through tax-free financing. Under the direction of the Commissioners, the BCIDA has been designated as the lead economic development agency in Bucks County and administrator of the Commissioner’s Bucks2Invest initiative.
The Bucks2Invest initiative and tax-free financing program (provided by the Commonwealth) are provided to stimulate economic development and create and retain jobs. This objective is attained by providing below market financing through the Bucks2Invest or tax-free, low-interest loans through the tax-free financing program to business and industry.
