Crimes Against Older Adults
The Bucks County Register of Wills and Clerk Orphans' Court is proud to serve on the Crimes Against Older Adults Task Force. More information can be found on the Crimes Against Older Adults page.
If you are an older adult and believe you are the victim of abuse or a crime please call 800-490-8505 or contact any of the members of the Task Force.
Offsite Service
Special arrangements can also be made to have traveling clerks available for offsite locations for probate and to take affidavits or emergency marriage license applications in Bucks County. To make an appointment for probate or for an emergency marriage license application call the Register of Wills office.
Additional charges may apply.
Genealogy & Historic Research
For genealogic research, original documents dating back to 1684, as well as microfilm, may be viewed in our office Archive Center. You may also request documents by mail. Research fees apply.
The Register of Wills and Clerk of Orphans' Court also maintains a Historic Advisory Panel.

The Register of Wills and Clerk of Orphans’ Court also participates in expos and events throughout the county bringing information to the community. Our displays can be tailored to the event, focusing on genealogy and history, marriage licensing, or wills and probate.
Professional Advisory Panel
As part of their commitment to ensure the Register of Wills and Orphans' Court operates in the most efficient manner possible, the Register/Clerk has established a Professional Advisory Panel for local attorneys.

Public Speaking
The Register of Wills and Clerk of Orphans' Court will send presenters to educational, civic, social and faith-based organizations regarding many aspects, such as, genealogy, probate estate planning and other government services.
