JUVENILE COURT IS HELD AT THE BUCKS COUNTY JUSTICE CENTER, LOCATED IN DOYLESTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA.

HEARINGS ARE TYPICALLY HELD ON TUESDAYS AND FRIDAYS OF EACH WEEK, STARTING AT 9:00AM AND 1:30PM

All court participants must dress appropriately to maintain the dignity, decorum, and professional atmosphere of the judicial branch of our government.

 Appropriate Attire

  • Males should wear a collared shirt and long pants (jeans are acceptable). Sweaters are acceptable.
  • Females should wear a dress, a blouse with an appropriate skirt, or long pants (jeans are acceptable).
  • Jeans are acceptable if they are not cut, frayed, distressed, torn, or faded.
  • All pants must be worn at the waist; no sagging or low-riding pants.
  • Shoulders, backs, chests, and midriffs must be covered.
  • Appropriate footwear must be worn at all times 

 NO shorts, cut-off jeans, flip-flops, slippers, hats/caps, bandanas, scarves, sweatbands, clothing that advertises substances (drugs, alcohol, tobacco) or language/writing that is offensive, chains, spiked accessories, or oversized jewelry

 Required Conduct During Court:

  • Cell phones, computers, and pagers must be turned OFF while court is in session
  • Spectators may not sleep in the courtroom
  • No bottles, beverage containers, paper cups, or food allowed.
  • No reading of newspapers, books, or magazines is permitted
  • No talking or unnecessary noise; no one is allowed to talk when the judge is speaking.
