Infant Toddler Early Intervention for Children with Developmental Delays
What Is Early Intervention?
While all children grow and change at their own rate, some children can experience delays in their development. Sometimes this can be cause for concern. Early Intervention is designed to help families with children who have developmental delays or disabilities with supports and resources to help their child learn, develop and gain independence. The programs purpose is to help families meet the developmental needs of their children. Services and supports available through EI are designed to help eligible infants/toddlers meet developmental milestones.
In Bucks County, Infant/Toddler Early Intervention for children birth to 3 years old is administered through the Bucks County Department of Behavioral Health/Developmental Programs.
Referrals for children birth through 2 years, 11 months
