The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office announced on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, that additional charges are being filed against the former choir director at Central Bucks West High School for indecently assaulting two former students.
Joseph Glen Ohrt, 56, of Buckingham Township, was charged this morning with with one count of indecent assault of a person less than 14 years of age, a misdemeanor of the first degree, and one count of indecent assault of a person less than 16 years of age, a misdemeanor of the second degree.
Ohrt was also charged with two counts of corruption of minors, both misdemeanors. He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Mark Douple and his bail was set at Bail just set at $100,000, 10 percent. As part of his bail conditions, he was ordered to not have direct or indirect contact with the victims, no unsupervised contact with anyone under 18, and he must surrender his passport.
The latest charges are the result of a continuing investigation by Detectives with the Central Bucks Regional Police Department and the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office.
