MAN SENTENCED TO COUNTY JAIL AND 12 YEARS OF PROBATION FOR REPEATEDLY STALKING WOMAN

Andrew Gold

A 33-year-old man convicted of terrorizing a Bedminster Township woman for more than six years was sentenced on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023, to the Bucks County Correctional Facility and 12 years of probation.

Andrew David Gold, of Hatfield Township, Montgomery County, was convicted by a Bucks County jury in August on two counts of possession of a device for the interception of communications, two counts of stalking and one count of harassment.

Deputy District Attorney Brittney M. Kern argued that Gold deserved a state prison sentence for “six years of escalating terror” against the victim, describing it as an extreme case of stalking.

She presented a timeline that detailed how Gold went from approaching and attempting to talk to the victim at random locations in 2015, to stalking and harassing her online and then going to her neighborhood to sit in his car or hide in bushes while using binoculars and listening devices.
