A 40-year-old man was convicted of first-degree murder on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2023, for the stabbing death of his cousin in December 2021 in Bristol Township.
David Joseph Jenner was also found guilty of aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and possession of an instrument of crime by Common Pleas Judge Jeffrey L. Finley during a 2-day waiver trial.
Sentencing was deferred to a later date.
Bucks County Deputy District Attorneys Marc J. Furber and Sarah K. Heimbach presented hundreds of exhibits during the trial, including the murder weapon, crime scene photos, and body cam footage from Bristol Township officers responding to the Dec. 19, 2021, stabbing at 605 Veterans Highway.
The footage showed police and emergency responders valiantly attempting to save the life of 43-year-old Charlie R. Thomas Jr., who was stabbed eight times during the attack.
